In the table you can compare the characteristics of the models of inexpensive induction hobs described in the article, and in the general section you will find even more built-in hobs to choose the most suitable one.

PowerBoost function to increase power, timer with or without auto-off of the burner, power limitation.
All burners are the same size.

The Gorenje induction hob is an inexpensive solution for everyday use. It does not have a large number of functions (which, in fact, is reflected in the price), but the stove is made of high-quality materials and has everything necessary for easy operation.

The model is equipped with four burners of the same diameter (18 cm), but of different power - two 1.2 kW each and two 1.5 kW each. One size of burners limits the choice of cookware, since the bottom of the frying pan or pan should not be much smaller than the diameter of the burner - otherwise the stove may not recognize the object placed on it. And since all heating zones are the same, you will have to select dishes that will occupy at least approximately 70% of the burner size.

The PowerBoost function will be useful, which by pressing one button turns on the maximum heating power for a while. For example, to quickly boil water in a pan. In addition, there is a timer that can be used in two ways. First, simply note the time so that when it expires, the system will sound a sound signal. Secondly, set the required time for a specific burner - after a specified period it will automatically turn off. The maximum timer time is 99 minutes.

At the end of cooking, a special sensor shows which burners have not yet cooled down. This feature can help save energy by using residual heat to reheat food. For safety, the hob automatically turns off if you forget to turn off the burner, but this happens after a few hours (depending on the selected power). In addition, the burners turn off when the pan is removed. You can also limit the power to avoid problems with old wiring when turning on other equipment.

The hob is made of durable glass ceramics, which provides a beautiful appearance and is easy to maintain. The smooth surface is easy to clean from dirt and spills, and the absence of a frame prevents dirt from accumulating around the edges. The control is controlled by a touch panel, which can be locked if necessary (ChildLock) to avoid accidental clicks. This function is especially relevant for families with children.

The built-in hob from the Candy Idea series belongs to the category of inexpensive induction models. It is made of durable and easy-to-clean glass ceramics and has dimensions of 59x52 cm. The stove has a standard layout of four burners, which differ in size and power. These are two burners with a diameter of 160 mm and a power of 1.2 kW, one medium burner (180 mm, 1.8 kW) and one large burner (210 mm, 2.3 kW). The minimum diameter of the bottom of the pan for detection is 120 mm. Below them is a touch control panel. If necessary, it can be locked to prevent children or other household members from accidentally changing the selected settings.

The model is quite simple and easy to use thanks to useful additional functions. Booster allows you to temporarily increase the power of the burner for faster heating. The pause button allows you to pause the process - for example, to wipe away dirt, drain water from a pan, or step away for a while. A timer with a maximum duration of 99 minutes will help you keep track of time. The residual heat indicator indicates cooking zones that have not yet cooled down after switching off. If liquids are spilled on the surface, the device automatically turns off. Additionally, you can limit the maximum power of the hob to avoid overloading the old wiring.

No timer.

The built-in hob belongs to the Electrolux 300 series, which includes inexpensive basic-level devices. Accordingly, the model is quite easy to use, practical, equipped with only the necessary functions and has a low price. The 59x52 cm slab has a glass-ceramic surface - this material is popular among manufacturers of household appliances due to its strength, high thermal conductivity and resistance to high temperatures. There is no frame around the edges of the hob. The model is made in the spirit of minimalism and will suit almost any kitchen interior due to its classic black color. And its smooth surface without a single protrusion makes cleaning much easier.

The hob consists of four induction burners: two small (diameter 14.5 cm, power 1.4 kW), one medium (18 cm, 1.7 kW) and one large and most powerful (21 cm, 2.2 kW). This makes it possible to select the optimal zone depending on the size of the dishes. A convenient touch panel is used for control, which displays the selected settings and indicators of the device’s operation. If necessary, the panel can be locked so that it does not respond to accidental presses - for example, when you wipe up a spilled liquid or if there are children in the house.

Useful functions include Booster - an instant increase in the power of the burner for a limited period of time, after which it will automatically return to normal settings. For example, if the maximum power of a large burner is 2.2 kW, then in Booster mode this figure increases to 2.4 kW.

Safety is ensured by the residual heat indicator, which warns of hotplates that have not cooled down, and the automatic shut-off function. The stove turns itself off in several cases: if the control panel is flooded with something or something is on it for more than 10 seconds; when the liquid in the pan boils dry and the burner becomes very hot; you use inappropriate utensils; if no one uses the burner that is not switched off for a long time. All this is especially true for people who constantly forget to disconnect equipment from the network, and inexperienced users who do not understand the settings and basic principles of operation. But for some reason the manufacturer did not add a timer.

QuickStart function (automatic selection of heating zone with installed cookware), ability to limit power.
PowerBoost mode is only for one burner, provided that the other zones are turned off, there is no timer.

The hob represents the Bosch Serie 2 series, which includes inexpensive devices with basic functionality. It is suitable for those users who are looking for a modern, but easy-to-use stove and are not willing to overpay for advanced features such as control via the Internet or combining burners into one working area ( "bridge" mode).

The model is equipped with four induction burners, divided into pairs: two of them have a diameter of 14.5 cm and a power of 1.4 kW, and the other two are 18 cm with a power of 1.8 kW each (for small and large dishes, respectively). The top left burner is marked with a Boost sign, which means it has the PowerBoost mode for instantly increasing power. When this function is activated, the power of the burner increases for a while from 1.8 kW to 3.1 kW, allowing you to quickly boil water, heat oil for deep-frying, etc. Unfortunately, the PowerBoost mode is only available for one burner, and then only on condition that other zones heating is turned off.

In addition to PowerBoost, there are 9 power levels available for each burner. By doing this, you can limit the total power consumption of the device. This is true for houses and apartments with old wiring that may not withstand heavy loads. Also for safe operation are the residual heat indicator (shows hot burners to prevent burns) and the function of automatically turning off the stove when left unattended. And to quickly and conveniently start cooking, the QuickStart option is provided - automatic selection of the heating zone on which the cookware was installed before turning on the device. But, unfortunately, there is no timer.

In general, the hob is convenient for both experienced users and beginners who are just getting acquainted with modern induction cookers. Glass ceramics easily withstand heavy use and are easy to clean. The absence of a frame around the edges eliminates the accumulation of dirt in the cracks. The different diameters of the burners allow you to work with cookware of different sizes (but remember that induction does not work with all materials). A touch panel with clear indication of heating zones is used for control. And if necessary, it can be completely blocked so that no adult, and especially children, can accidentally change the settings or turn off the equipment altogether.

Indication of settings with the ability to turn off the backlight, timer with automatic shutdown of burners, overflow protection for the control unit, power limitation.

The Beko hob includes 4 induction burners, so it has fairly standard dimensions of 59x52 cm and requires a niche 56 cm wide and 49 cm deep for installation. In general, this is a good option for a modern kitchen and ordinary daily cooking: the stove is inexpensive, but at the same time ensures convenient and safe use. The working surface is made of glass ceramics, which is highly durable, has good thermal conductivity and is easy to clean.

So that you have the opportunity to install dishes of different sizes, there are two burners with a diameter of 18 cm and a power of 2 kW, as well as two smaller burners (14.5 cm and 1.6 kW). A total of 9 power levels are available for each heating zone. And the control is controlled by a touch panel with clear symbols and indication of the selected settings. This is not a full-fledged display, but it still greatly simplifies interaction with technology.

The settings include not only standard power control, but also other useful functions. The timer allows you to set the time required to cook a dish, after which the stove will beep and turn off the heating. As a result, no burnt food or overcooked porridge.

The manufacturer devoted a lot of time to safety issues. Thus, the residual heat indicator indicates burners that have not had time to cool down, so that you do not accidentally get burned. If the device is left unattended, after a while it will turn off on its own. If liquid is spilled on the control panel, heating will stop so you can clean up the contamination. In addition, there is an overheating protection system, the ability to limit power in case of wiring problems and a child safety feature - locking the control panel to prevent accidental presses. You can also turn off the settings display so that the backlight does not interfere at night.
