The Candy hob, made in white, can be classified as one of the available “gas on glass” models. The frameless tempered glass used here is designed to simplify maintenance and provide a decent level of strength and resistance to temperature influences.

Candy CVG 6 WW is characterized by a laconic design and should fit perfectly into a kitchen interior decorated in light colors, but can also “play in contrast” with a dark set. We also note that there is a related version on sale in the classic black color - CVG 6 B.

The hob has a classic layout with 4 gas burners. On the left front there is an auxiliary burner with a power equivalent of 1000 W. Here you can warm up small portions of food or make coffee in a Turkish coffee pot. Following this is a 2.7kW fast zone, which should save you time when boiling water. To the right are two versatile 1750-watt burners, ready for a wide range of cooking tasks.

The front control panel of Candy CVG 6 WW includes four rotary switches with an integrated gas control system and automatic ignition, allowing you to do without matches. It’s also easy to set the minimum flame: you just need to turn the lever counterclockwise until it stops (the so-called minimum flame function).

A nice feature of the panel are the paired cast iron grates. They contribute to the stability of dishes of different weights and dimensions, and in addition do not require manual care (including due to their small size). The manufacturer recommends placing them in the dishwasher for cleaning and selecting a cycle with a temperature of 70 °C.

Candy CVG 6 WW is an affordable, stylish and easy-to-use gas-on-glass hob.

The Hansa brand hob is positioned by the manufacturer as a decoration for any kitchen. This is primarily due to the presence of a white tempered glass base. It really looks beautiful, resists scratches well, and makes maintenance easier compared to its counterparts with metal surfaces.

Hansa BHKW611301 is complemented by massive paired cast iron grates. Not only are they stable and durable, but they also feature a practical shape that makes it easy to move pots or other utensils between the side burners.

The gas panel is equipped with four gas burners, among which the front left one deserves special attention. This is a turbo burner with three rows of flame and a slightly concave shape. It is best used for cooking food in large frying pans and cauldrons, including Asian dishes that require intense and even heating.

To the right of the WOK burner there is a small burner with a diameter of 5.3 cm. And behind there is a pair of identical 7.3 cm burners of medium power. They are convenient for cooking in dishes that are not very large in size. But simultaneous cooking in large pans on them is made difficult by the small distance from each other.

Each burner is regulated by its own rotary switch with built-in auto-ignition. If the flame suddenly goes out due to a draft or escaped milk, the gas control will work, preventing gas leakage.

The advantages of the model also include a small price tag (as for gas-on-glass solutions). Accordingly, if you need a white gas hob with a turbo burner in the low-cost segment, then the Hansa BHKW611301 is definitely worth a closer look.

Price, powerful turbo burner, 9-level flame adjustment.

The built-in hob of the Whirlpool brand received a control panel traditional for gas models with four rotary switches. The auto-ignition and gas control systems that are familiar today are also implemented here, respectively increasing the convenience and safety of operating the device.

Separately, it should be said about the 9-stage flame adjustment in the Whirlpool GOFL 629 WH. With it, the control flexibility approaches the best electric models. Thus, two minimum settings are suitable for maintaining heat and gentle cooking, 3 and 4 - for slow boiling and stewing, 5 and 6 - for frying and long-term cooking, 7 and 8 - for frying frozen semi-finished products or grilling fish and meat, and the maximum " nine" - for boiling or rapid heating.

The white hob has four gas burners, suitable for different dishes. Thus, it is recommended to place small utensils (up to 14 cm in diameter), such as a milk jug or ladle, on the small (right front) burner. On two standard (rear) ones you can cook in medium-sized dishes (diameter from 16 to 22 cm). And the WOK burner (front left) “awaits” the largest pots and pans. A high power of 3.5 kW is declared for it, which means that the water will quickly boil and the meat will be fried to the desired degree of readiness.

The model is supplied with cast iron grates - a pair of paired identical supports for dishes. The dimensions and dimensions for installing the device are quite standard (560x490 mm), and the price, as for gas-on-glass solutions, is very attractive. Therefore, Whirlpool GOFL 629 WH is a good choice, especially if you need a turbo burner and flexible flame adjustment.

We also note that in addition to the white version, the related gray model Whirlpool GOFL 629 S may also look interesting in a light kitchen.

The WOK burner is located at a distance from the others.

The gas hob belongs to the middle price segment, but the Slovenian brand Gorenje has proven over many years of its work that the quality of its products is at a high level. Gorenje GTW 642 SYW is a standard model with four burners of different diameters for cookware of any size. There is the smallest burner with a diameter of 5.37 cm and a power of 1.05 kW, two identical zones at the back (7.35 cm and 1.8 kW), as well as a large double WOK burner (12.3 cm, 3.5 kW), which will save time and is perfect for preparing Asian dishes over high heat. All of them are equipped with automatic ignition, allowing you to turn on the heating with one hand.

The manufacturer claims that the distance between the burners and the working area have been increased by 20%, although the stove is the same in size as most competitors - 60x52 cm. In fact, the WOK burner is located at a distant distance from the others, which makes it possible to place large-sized dishes . Also, thanks to the burners of different sizes, there is room for both a Turk and a spacious pot or frying pan. True, you will have to buy stands for the wok and for the Turks separately. The controls are controlled by classic rotary switches located on the right side of the front.

The device uses tempered glass as a working surface. It cleans well and makes the panel more attractive in appearance. There is no frame, which simplifies surface care. ProGrids' cast iron grates are durable, heat-resistant and allow you to move pans easily, although there is still a risk of spillage. There are two classic colors available to choose from - black and white, which are universal and will suit any kitchen interior.

Powerful turbo burner.

The “gas on glass” device represents the GOG series of Electrolux and has standard dimensions for a 4-burner model (59x52 cm). At the back there are 2000-watt burners with a diameter of 8 cm. On the right front there is a small 1000-watt 6.5 cm burner, and on the left front there is a turbo burner with several Multicrown WOK Burner dividers at 3900 W and 12.8 cm. With it, high-intensity heating and cooking of various Asian dishes is possible kitchens.

The manufacturer declares that the Electrolux GPE 363 YV contains not just powerful, but also economical burners, whose gas consumption is reduced by 20%. And users note that there is really a lot of space allocated for the turbo burner, so large utensils fit here without any problems, and the pots on the adjacent burners do not interfere at all.

The hob has a base made of white tempered glass, which looks more impressive against the background of steel or enameled counterparts. The absence of frames and various protrusions on the working surface simplifies maintenance: most dirt can be removed with a rag and does not require the use of any detergents. There is also a modification in black color GPE 363 YK, suitable for more traditional interiors.

Complete utensil holders are made of cast iron. The grates help keep pots and pans stable and can also help you move them easily between gas burners when needed.

The four rotary switches are located on the front right (closer to the small burner). They do not heat up during operation, and are also complemented by traditional auto-ignition and gas control systems.

Electrolux GPE 363 YV is a worthy representative of the middle class of gas panels on tempered glass. We can recommend the device to everyone who is interested in quick cooking/heating/boiling, because here essentially 3 out of 4 burners are “sharpened” for this.
