The 2023 debut in the MSI brand line is a relatively inexpensive 21-inch PRO series thin-bezel monitor. The latter combines universal solutions that are suitable for everyday work or educational tasks (preparation of essays, term papers, etc.). The manufacturer also recommends the use at the reception in hotels or offices, in educational or healthcare institutions. The model is based on an 8-bit VA technology matrix with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels.
The MSI PRO MP223 monitor is notable for its decent static contrast ratio (3000:1), good color gamut (99% sRGB claimed), and fast response time (4ms gray to gray). The display refresh rate is 100 Hz, plus the Adaptive-Sync synchronization function is implemented to ensure a smooth picture without tearing. It is also worth noting that the screen complies with the proprietary Eye Care concept, which means it is gentle on the eyes due to the absence of flickering backlight, anti-glare coating and Less Blue Light filtering technology. Of the design features, it is worth highlighting an external power supply and the presence of a recessed slot on the stand, which can act as a holder for a smartphone.
