Yes, you get a good black color due to the VA matrix (by the way, from the advantages of colors, only black) all other colors are very dry, especially if you notice this if you have ever sat in front of a high-quality IPS monitor (which can be easily found for this price)
But the main problem here is not the colors, but the response time - IT REALLY FELT! forget about shooters, about your quick reaction, about enjoying the smoothness of the picture - all this is killed by an incredibly high (for a gaming monitor) response time.
If you are considering buying the best gaming monitor in this price range, then as of 12/09/20, the LG 34gn850 is your best bet. This is not an advertisement, I now have this monitor and I'm just happy with everything! The only negative in comparison is not such a deep black color, but really where you can notice it ONLY when loading a game, where there is a black splash screen - EVERYTHING.
Response time there is instant
colors - FAT!
viewing angles - better and not distorted.
