Kordi AOTV-26 is a household solid fuel boiler designed for space heating, residential buildings or public utility facilities with an area of not more than 160 m2. The model is single-circuit, that is, it can only provide heating, without preparing hot water. Useful power largely depends on the fuel used (up to 75%), and coal, anthracite or firewood can be used as the latter. The combustion chamber is open (traditionally, as for solid fuel boilers), but the draft regulator is purchased separately.

This boiler was purchased to heat a small woodworking shop. You have your own fuel, wood waste is always at hand, why not use it. In addition, it is dual-circuit and perfectly heats water for the shower. Dumb construction. Thick metal of the body and heat exchanger, good welds, cast iron grates. In short, two hundred kilograms of fitted metal gives a feeling of reliability. Powerful, enough for more than three hundred square meters of area. Hot water for the shower is produced quickly. We made a two-hundred-liter storage tank with thermal insulation, hot water accumulates there, and at the end of the shift 7-8 people can wash themselves normally. The fuel loading chamber is large and easy to fill. It looks like a cube with a side of about 50 cm. You can load quite a lot of fuel, but the wood burns out quite quickly. The boiler is very easy to maintain. The air supply and combustion intensity can be adjusted with a simple mechanical chain regulator or damper, which is located at the outlet in front of the chimney. But I don’t recommend letting the air supply heal too much; it starts to smoke. Rather than dragging out one load for a long time, it is better to heat it thoroughly for two or two and a half hours and then make a new load. The seals on the doors are good and do not let out smoke. The kit includes a kit for cleaning the ash pan and heat exchanger. Inexpensive. The domestic manufacturer is very helpful in this sense. If you restrict the air supply, soot begins to form during combustion. Everything would be fine, but this rubbish quickly settles on the heat exchanger, and then cleaning it takes a long time and is tedious. use Kordi AOTV-26 month or more |
