Kordi AOTV-12 is a classic solid fuel boiler with a net power of 12 kW. This is one of the younger models in the family, which in general can be classified as relatively inexpensive entry-level solutions. The plant can use wood, anthracite or coal as fuel, depending on which the efficiency varies from 60 to 75%. The capacity of the device is quite enough for efficient heating of a room up to 96 m2. The combustion chamber is open type, there is an additional door (cover) for cleaning the heat exchanger. The boiler was produced at the Krasilovsky Aggregate Plant, which used to manufacture parts for aircraft. There is also a similar Kordi AKTV line on the market, which is distinguished by the presence of a stove.

It took a compact single-circuit boiler for a summer residence. Since there is no gas, the boiler was chosen from solid fuel. Firewood of different sizes is used as fuel: from large chocks to branches. I was tight with money, so imported models immediately disappeared. After a review of our manufacturers, I drew attention to the products of the Krasilovsky Heating Equipment Plant. As a result, I chose a twelve-kilowatt boiler of the AOTV series. The main advantage of this boiler is its simplicity. To some, it may even seem primitive, but simplicity for any technical solution is, first of all, high reliability. The small size (only 45 cm wide!) made it possible to conveniently place the boiler in an already equipped house. Solid welded body, good thermal insulation with mineral wool and balalt cardboard. Thick heat-resistant steel of the heat exchanger casing. The combustion chamber has a volume of about 30 liters. This is enough for a dense load, sufficient to completely warm up a house of 67 square meters in winter. I regulate the burning rate with the help of the lower adjusting screw and the damper on the chimney. The doors for loading, unloading ash and maintenance are well sealed, smoke does not leak into the room. The boiler is easy and simple to clean, and it does not require other maintenance. Small firewood burns out fairly quickly.
