Needed a water heater for a family of two living in a small one-room apartment. I bought a Gorenje boiler because I trust this brand. Convenient electronic control. You can precisely set the desired heating temperature. There is a self-diagnosis. Useful E-mode, that is, the mode of maximum efficiency and economy. When operating in this mode, the boiler heats water not to a maximum of 75 degrees, but only to 55. The difference is small, but scale on heating elements is formed many times less and heat losses through thermal insulation also decrease by at least a third. There is an indication of magnesium anode wear. It seems to be a trifle, but in practice, without such a function, it is completely incomprehensible in what state this very anode is. You can see it only by completely disassembling the entire boiler. One of the most economical water heaters. If you keep it on, but do not use hot water, then it consumes less than one kilowatt-hour of electricity per day to maintain the maximum temperature. It takes exactly the same amount of energy to heat up the energy as that of competitors. The heat capacity of water does not depend on the beauty and gloss of advertising booklets. Due to the electronic control, it requires the installation of an additional power supply stabilizer or at least a voltage cut-off. Otherwise, as they say in the service, in our electrical networks, electronic control units of such equipment burn more often than New Year's candles. |

I chose and bought myself one for my bathroom because of its size and impressive volume. I had never encountered electronic control in such devices before, and I was pleasantly surprised. Dry heating elements. They should be much more durable than ordinary ones, but even if they burn out, they can be replaced without dismantling or disassembling the tank itself. In addition, they are promised that they give less scale, which I personally doubt - during preventive cleaning and replacement of the magnesium anode, the scale was removed about two liters. The heated water is more or less enough for my family of 4. But it should be noted that if all the hot water is still drained, then it takes a very long time to wait for the new one to heat up. Convenient and beautiful electronic control unit. You can accurately set the water temperature and precisely control it. It can determine the degree of wear of the protective anode, which is useful, since it is generally impossible to control this process in other ways. Slowly heats up, almost four hours to a maximum of 75 degrees is a LOT. Still, two kilowatts per hundred liters is clearly not enough. It is clear that the manufacturer wanted to keep the current consumed by the boiler within 10A, but, IMHO, it would be better if they gave three kilowatts of electric power. This would give a current of up to 14A, but still, normal wiring, like sockets, can withstand at least 16A. But this would allow one and a half times to reduce the time of heating water (up to 2.5 hours). |
