I chose and bought myself one for my bathroom because of its size and impressive volume. My apartment is small-sized, they are called "Khrushchevs", and even there is very little free space on the walls in the combined bathroom. And this boiler has a large height, but a relatively modest width and depth. As it turned out, the size and volume are not far from all the advantages of this water heater. I had never encountered electronic control in such devices before, and I was pleasantly surprised. Dry heating elements. They should be much more durable than ordinary ones, but even if they burn out, they can be replaced without dismantling or disassembling the tank itself. In addition, they are promised that they give less scale, which I personally doubt - during preventive cleaning and replacement of the magnesium anode, the scale was removed about two liters. The heated water is more or less enough for my family of 4. But it should be noted that if all the hot water is still drained, then it takes a very long time to wait for the new one to heat up. Convenient and beautiful electronic control unit. You can accurately set the water temperature and precisely control it. It can determine the degree of wear of the protective anode, which is useful, since it is generally impossible to control this process in other ways. Slowly heats up, almost four hours to a maximum of 75 degrees is a LOT. Still, two kilowatts per hundred liters is clearly not enough. It is clear that the manufacturer wanted to keep the current consumed by the boiler within 10A, but, IMHO, it would be better if they gave three kilowatts of electric power. This would give a current of up to 14A, but still, normal wiring, like sockets, can withstand at least 16A. But this would allow one and a half times to reduce the time of heating water (up to 2.5 hours). |
I have a small apartment with a small combined bathroom, so it was difficult to find a place to install a standard “round” water heater. I had to look for something more compact. The 100 liter Gorenje model fit perfectly, they arranged both the dimensions and the power and speed of water heating. Water is heated by dry tubular electric heaters. They have a significantly longer service life due to the fact that they do not come into direct contact with water. Why is that? And here's why: no contact with water - no scale - no deterioration in heat transfer - no overheating of the heat-generating coil - the heating element lives happily ever after. There are two heating elements, by the way, i.e. 2 x 1000 W. They can work at the same time or only one of them. With the DigiTech electronic control, you can accurately set the water temperature, switch the water heater to economy mode and monitor the wear of the magnesium anode. True, wear control works with “fun” bugs, but more on that below. Well readable figures of water temperature on the LCD indicator. The indicator itself is also located correctly, i.e. at the bottom. The neighbor also has a Gorenje boiler, but with a pointer thermometer and it is located in the upper part of the body. So it is generally difficult to understand the thermometer readings on it. Warranty and availability of official service. When turned on after a month of inactivity of a de-energized water heater, the magnesium anode wear monitoring system reported that the anode was a kayuk. To say that I was surprised is to say nothing - the anode could not have dissolved in just seven months of work. It turned out that this is a false alarm, which happens precisely after a long downtime. This was written in the instructions and it still needs to be read sometimes))) |
