The maximum recording speed is available only on the internal memory of the camera, shooting on external memory up to 60 fps at 4K.
Mirrorless full frame from Canon, launched into the photography arena in the height of summer 2020. The camera has an image sensor with a resolution of 20.1 MP, peeped from the reportage "monster" Canon EOS 1D X Mark III. However, the mirrorless camera also does not graze the rear in photographing dynamic scenes — frames are taken on it at a tremendous pace of up to 20 fps (when using an electronic shutter).
The standard ISO range of the Canon EOS R6 body image sensor ranges from 100 to 102400 ISO units, and it can be extended by software to ISO 50-204800. The built-in stabilization system on board the camera is capable of compensating for up to 8 stops of exposure in combination with some lenses for the Canon RF system. The camera also uses a top-of-the-line Dual Pixel CMOS AF II automatic focus system with 1053 focus areas.
It quickly and tenaciously holds objects in the frame when taking photos, accurately and smoothly aims at the target in video recording mode. By the way, the videos are written on a mirrorless camera in 4K resolution at 60 fps and in FullHD at 120 fps. The camera supports 10-bit, 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, C-Log and HDR PQ. The on-board equipment of the model includes an OLED viewfinder with a resolution of 3.69 million dots and a magnification of 0.76x, a swivel three-inch touch screen, a dual SD card slot with UHS-II support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless adapters. The body of the camera is weatherproof.

Having moved from the Canon 5D II, it seems that everything has become better, but after a couple of years you realize that everything is not so great. -autofocus is accurate and fast

An excellent reporting camera with a completely miserable, flat and discolored picture. As well as its main competitors. In pursuit of speed, high and ISO and video, camera manufacturers seem to have forgotten about color, halftones, and volume. The main numbers, people hawala. How does it work. In the very first test video, there are several large clusters of dead pixels (more than 20 dead pixels). Like the seller, they refuse to exchange the camera for a non-defective manufacturer, hiding behind one side of the law, although the other side of this law says that a conscientious manufacturer and seller can make a replacement. Before that, there were no cases (with other manufacturers in other stores) that they did not exchange defective electronics and there were never any problems. I ALWAYS RECOMMEND TO CHECK BEFORE BUYING: 1) come with a laptop to the store. 2) insert the card into the camera without removing the cap from the lens and record a video for 10 seconds and a photo. 3) remove the cap and repeat the shooting of photos and videos on a white sheet. 4) insert an SD card into the laptop and check that there are no red, blue and green dots on the white and black backgrounds, and others, depending on the camera settings. Be sure to test the technique before buying, do not trust a bloated Canon like me! I was not satisfied that Canon does not check its cameras and people become hostages of the situation for a long time after buying such expensive but not high-quality equipment. In official support on the Canon website, referring to only one part of the law, they refused to replace a defective production camera with more than 20 dead pixels, covering them up. The Canon EOS R6 mirrorless camera has been released as a more affordable alternative to the flagship R5 model. It will be just right for solving the most diverse tasks, whether it is reportage photography or advanced 4K video recording.
High Performance Stabilization
The design of the camera is based on a full-frame matrix with a resolution of 20.1 MP. The image sensor is mounted on a stabilizing pad, which, together with some lenses for the Canon RF system, provides the ability to compensate for up to 8 stops of shutter speed or exposure. None of the direct rivals of a mirrorless camera can boast such a high efficiency of the stub.
Advanced Dual Pixel Autofocus
The pride of the Canon line of cameras is the proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus system. She did not bypass the considered model. Autofocus has 1053 focus zones and provides the camera with fast and smooth focus in both still photography and video recording. Autofocus algorithms include an object recognition system formed using machine learning.
