be quiet! Pure Rock 2 (BK006)

A mid-range CPU cooler with an excellent balance between price, thermal performance and noise level. Like most of the products of the German brand be quiet!, this cooler is very quiet (19 to 27 dB range) and quite aspires to be included in the cohort of silent components. The tower-type design is made according to the classic U-shaped scheme, when a massive single-section metal heatsink is located perpendicular to the processor, it is blown on the side by a proprietary Pure Wings 2 fan with PWM-speed control, and for additional cooling, the heatsink pierces 4 direct contact heat pipes.
Be quiet! Pure Rock 2 has an impressive thermal power dissipation (up to 150 W), a significant weight (575 g). With high performance, the cooler is ready to effectively cool a powerful Intel or AMD Mainstream/Performance class processor with 8 physical cores, multi-threading activated and automatic overclocking. Compared to the original model, the second version of Pure Rock 2 has undergone many changes. In particular, the shape of the aluminium radiator plates has changed and their density has increased. The new turntable model tends to be less noisy. A completely redesigned tower design will allow you to not worry about compatibility with high memory modules and massive video cards during assembly.

Cool cooler, looks great, 150W TDP is plenty for an i5 10400 with a head. The fan is completely silent, you can only hear how the air passes through the radiator fins ... of course, if you set the speed to the maximum, it and any other will make noise ... so you need to choose the right cooler for your processors! If the TDP of the processor is 65W, multiply by 2 VA and select a cooler, set the speed from 800 to 1200 and you will have silence. And put it on 125w. percent with index K.ey. then it is foolish to hope for silence, but it will pull, but you will have to twist to the maximum! Efficient, quiet, nice looking and good quality, easy to install (I personally had no problems) ... my personal opinion, the engineers could make it smaller in height! It is enough to lower the radiator fins by 6~7 mm down to the substrate, using the same number of fins, respectively, shorten the tubes from the top by 6~7 mm so it would be more compact and, I think, a little more efficient. ))) Mihail Chekalin: use be quiet!
