High-performance tower-type CPU air cooler with a traditional U-shaped layout of seven heat pipes and two bundled low-noise branded fans. It has an impressive weight (1130 g) and considerable dimensions limiting the height of the heat spreaders installed on the memory modules (not higher than 40 mm). Belongs to the category of the most powerful air coolers, the so-called "supercoolers", capable of dissipating up to 250 W of heat, which makes it an excellent choice for overclocking experiments and regular operation of Intel High-End Desktop processors (up to 18 cores with a power of 165 W).
Despite such an impressive performance, it is positioned as a product of the middle price category. The Be quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU cooler can easily remove and dissipate the heat generated by the operation of Intel or AMD Mainstream/Performance class processors (including CPUs that are constantly overclocked with an increase in supply voltage). Special mention deserves the outstanding acoustic performance of the model, provided by two fans with Fluid Dynamic Bearings and PWM control: 120 mm Be quiet! Silent Wings 3 (up to 1500 rpm) and 135 mm Silent Wings (up to 1200 rpm).

I have a 4790K running at 4.6 GHz and 1.32 V. I bought it to replace the Zalman CNPS10X Performa +. Compared:
• idle CNPS10X: 40°, 1000RPM, 30dBa;
• idle Dark Pro 4: 40°, 500RPM, 27dBa;
• CNPS10X stress test: 95°, 1900RPM, 40dBa;
• Dark Pro 4 stress test: 89°, 1300RPM, 35dBa;
From the tests, it can be concluded that the temperature indicators have not improved much, but the noise level has decreased significantly. I do not want to say that this is the fault of a specific cooler, this is a given of the laws of physics. But if we compare the noise with the performance, then even with the fan possibly turned off, I got a noticeably quiet computer operation with the beequite: in idle time, in games and at high loads.
