— powered by its own built-in battery makes the amplifier independent of external energy sources. On the other hand, the operating time on a charge inevitably turns out to be limited, and the presence of a battery affects the weight, dimensions and price of the device. Therefore, this option is most widely used in portable models (see "Type"); in fact, most of these amplifiers are equipped with batteries. There are two reasons for this. First, for portable devices, battery life is more important than the disadvantages mentioned; secondly, when used with a smartphone or other portable gadget, such an amplifier does not “pull energy” from the battery of this gadget and does not reduce its continuous operation time. But there are few stationary solutions with built-in batteries, and these devices are in many ways reminiscent of portable ones: in particular, they are small in size and often involve the possibility of frequent carrying from place to place (although they do not provide use on the go, which is how they differ from portable analogues).Also note that battery power can be supplemented by the ability to work from the network and/or USB port. This allows you to save battery power if there is an external power source nearby; the device is usually charged from the same source.
