Another glow colour

— lamps in which the colour of the glow differs from traditional white – usually due to the bulb having a corresponding colour. Specific colours may vary, and the same applies to methods of application: coloured lamps can be used as a decorative element, in photo or video studios for colour correction during filming, in theatrical and concert performances for lighting effects, etc. But lamps with variable shades of light do not fall into this category; for information about them, see “More features – multi-colored (RGB)”.

A separate variety is represented by the so-called “black lights”, which produce ultraviolet light and glow very weakly in the visible range. This radiation causes various substances and materials to glow brightly, which also provides many applications – from entertainment and decorative lighting to very practical areas such as chemistry or medicine.
