Purifiers
— the name of this type of device very clearly reflects their main difference from coolers: purifiers are equipped with built-in filters and can not only heat/cool water but purify it from various impurities. At the same time, the possibility of such filtration can be very extensive; many models support capillary cleaning, reverse osmosis, UV radiation disinfection, etc. (see "More features").
