USB 3.1 ports laptops
USB 3.2 gen2
— laptops with at least one classic full-size USB port (“USB A”) supporting USB 3.2 gen2 interface.Recall that USB is now the most popular computer connector for external devices; it can be used both for various peripherals (keyboards, mice, flash drives and much more), and for charging external gadgets (for example, smartphones). And USB 3.2 gen2 (formerly known as USB 3.1 and USB 3.1 gen2) is the next version of this interface after USB 3.2 gen1. It provides connection speed of up to 10 Mbps, and with the Power Delivery function, it allows you to supply power up to 100 W to external devices (however, this function is not strictly required, its availability should be specified separately). At the same time, USB peripherals of other versions can also be connected to such connectors: devices with full-size plug — directly, with USB-C plug — through an adapter.
Note that the number of connectors of this type may be different. For added convenience, laptops with multiple USB 3.2 gen2 ports have been moved to separate selection point.
