A good half of the Comfort range is occupied by such convenient devices with a membrane base and low-profile island-type keys, which at first glance suggest associations with Apple Magic and other Slim keyboards. With the difference that the price plays in favor of REAL-EL ― for example, the Comfort 7080 model can be bought for a little less than $ 10. Usually, the simplest and unpretentious membranes are sold for such money, and prices for Slim devices start from $ 30 – 40.

In parallel with Slim devices in the Comfort series, a pack of not-quite-ordinary membrane keyboards marked Backlit came out, which try to sit on two chairs at once. Formally, these are the same low-profile membranes with an emphasis on speed and convenience of printing. However, the presence of built-in backlight and useful pieces like a handstand hint to customers that these keyboards are more suitable for skating with friends in Battlefield V or a solo race in RDR2. Some of them are built on the same chassis as the Slim keyboards mentioned above, while others are made from scratch.

For example, the Comfort 7090 Backlit keyboard in all respects resembles rather typical mechanical keyboards with Skeleton format keys. This association is reinforced by the fact that a reinforcing metal plate is installed inside the 7090 ― these are not always put in the "mechanics" for $ 100 – 150. Add here a colorful backlight, a braided cable, 12 Fn quick access buttons ― and you get a very interesting option for gamers with a limited low-cost.
