As part of the popularization of the OLED format, the Japanese giant Sony launched a new line of “people’s” OLED panels from the A75 series in 2022. Unlike the rather expensive OLED TVs from the A90 and A95 families, the A75 series contains all the essential elements of a modern Sony smart TV (smart shell, upscaler, HDR, 120 Hz, etc.), but does not Premium items that many users don’t need, like the Dual Style stand or the quantum dot filter.

All representatives of the A75 line are equipped with an advanced cognitive processor of the Cognitive XR series, which imitates the functioning of the human brain. While conventional AI algorithms in TV panels perceive color, brightness and contrast as individual elements of the image, Sony's AI has trained its AI to see the whole picture, as the human eye sees it. Thanks to this approach, the efficiency of the built-in AI algorithms has increased, which are responsible for upscaling the image to 4K, optimizing brightness and contrast, and adjusting the color palette so that the image looks bright and rich, and not acidic and overexposed.

All 75 Series OLED panels support display of HDR content in multiple formats (HDR10 and Dolby Vision). The brains are traditional Android TV with integrated voice assistants from Google and Amazon. Good gaming capabilities are provided by a screen with low input lag and a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as updated HDMI 2.1 ports, which are necessary for accurately conveying all the graphic nuances in next-gen games on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Built-in acoustics with a power of 40 - 50 W equipped with a subwoofer and a 3D Surround Upscaling virtual sound system with Dolby Atmos support.
