Fully automatic household coffee maker (coffee machine) for making espresso and various drinks based on it. Designed to work with whole coffee beans and ground coffee. It differs from more affordable models by the presence of an automatic LatteGo cappuccinatore, which creates delicate milk foam and delivers it directly into the cup. This model is equipped with a built-in coffee grinder with durable flat ceramic burrs and the ability to adjust the degree of grinding (12 options).
The Philips EP 3241 coffee maker can prepare espresso, americano (espresso diluted 1:1 with hot water), cappuccino and latte macchiato. It is also capable of supplying water heated to 90 °C, suitable for brewing all types of tea and herbal preparations. An electronic control system with a convenient touch surface makes it possible to adjust the strength of the drink (3 levels), regulate its temperature (3 levels) and volume. The simple and easy to maintain design includes a removable brewing unit, a 1500 W boiler, an adjustable dispenser and a quality Ulka Saeco pump capable of withstanding a maximum pressure of up to 15 bar. The LatteGo Cappuccinatore (capacity 260 mL), drip tray and grounds container are dishwasher safe.

We bought this machine a year and a half ago on the advice of a specialist in a store. At that time, the promotional price was very bribed.
The first couple of months it worked perfectly and was very pleased with the delicious coffee and the simplicity of its preparation. Then the jokes started. At first, the vaunted cappuccino maker stopped frothing milk normally and serving it almost twice as much as it should. Further more. Sometimes, after grinding the grains, it began to jam. Helped to remove the brewing unit. But recently the pump began to roar and supply water poorly, and steam instead of a cappuccinator began to go directly from the case. Handed over to the service center, because. still under warranty. While we wait. I note that I looked after the machine and, in addition to regular washing, carried out decalcification with a special agent, everything was according to the instructions. Attractive design.
