Affordable FullHD-resolution gaming monitor with a semi-glossy 23.8-inch screen, high refresh rate, wide colour gamut and built-in stereo speakers (2x3W). It belongs to the 2020 Philips E-Line product family, manufactured by the Chinese company TPV Technology. It is an inexpensive universal gaming monitor, which can also be used for processing photo / video content, 3D modeling, working in CAD / CAE packages.

The Philips 242E1GAJ monitor delivers sharper action scenes with a faster display and AMD FreeSync Premium technology, with no tearing. Its design is based on an 8-bit VA-matrix (6-bit + FRC) with a W-LED backlight, completely devoid of flicker (Flicker-Free). It provides 96% coverage of the NTSC colour space, increased maximum brightness of 350 cd/m² and excellent static contrast ratio of 3500:1.

A relatively large pixel (0.27 mm) allows you to increase the distance to the screen, which reduces the chronic tension of the lens muscles, reducing overall visual fatigue. Other important advantages of this model include outstanding energy efficiency (typical consumption of only 15 W) and excellent horizontal/vertical viewing angles (178°). Two digital interface ports are provided for connection: HDMI and DisplayPort.

It's better to buy something more expensive from another company.

I bought it 3 weeks ago, I chose the company based on the positive experience of Monica’s past. All the problems immediately appeared - a crooked stand, creating a very noticeable roll angle, and a pale monitor. Especially around the edges. Playing with the settings got me nowhere. I won’t return it, but the residue remains.

Normal for the price, no dead pixels yet.

Crooked stand, inability to change the height of the monica, as well as turn it left and right; very pale colors, very noticeable at the corners and catches the eye.

Based on the Samsung S24F350FHI(PLS) model. On Philips 242E1GAJ(VA) the picture is trochic [censored]. I took off the monitor without biting pixels and lights. Non-acceptance became unacceptable plastic to the monitor from the front side, from the bottom, but I think it won’t be a problem (I’ll attach it to the top).
Dynamics for 5 out of 10, I don’t understand why the stench is here. In general, the collection is not bad. In this price category, there are no competitors with such a set of traits.

Black color - really black for Samsung S24F350FHI(PLS).
The white color is really white for the Samsung S24F350FHI(PLS).
Good clarity.
Charge for 8 out of 10.
Included: BZh, HDMI cable and Display Port.

Looks like glare in colors, bad dynamics (it would be better if there weren’t any here).
