Palit GeForce GTX 1060 Dual 3GB is the best option for building a gaming PC designed for games in FullHD resolution and high, but not maximum graphics settings. For 2K resolution and ultra settings, you will need a GTX 1070 graphics card. In the old days, Palit was considered a second-rate graphics card manufacturer. But recently the company has significantly improved the quality of products and, as a result, the volume of deliveries. Moreover, Palit has managed to become the world's largest graphics card manufacturer, overtaking such eminent competitors as ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte.
One fan is good, but two is better.
The Dual model is the simplest dual-fan version of the GTX 1060 in the Palit range. An even simpler single-fan modification is called StormX, and the older dual-fan modification (with a massive cooler and strong factory overclocking) is called Super JetStream. And if one fan is enough for a cold 75-watt GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti, then in the case of a slightly hotter 120-watt GTX 1060, it is better to choose a modification with a simple, but still two-fan cooler, like in Palit Dual.
Justified savings
The Palit GeForce GTX 1060 Dual 3GB heatsink consists of separate aluminium fins and a pair of copper heat pipes. The set of video inputs is standard: HDMI, DVI and three DisplayPort (to create a multi-panel of three monitors). But VGA, as in other video cards of the GeForce 1000 and Radeon 500 series, is missing (the problem is solved by purchasing an active adapter. Finally, we recall that the 3-gigabyte version of the GTX 1060 has 128 Pascal microcores less than the 6-gigabyte one, but it also costs percent 25 – 30 cheaper.
