This is the name of a special coating on top of the IPS-matrix to improve the quality of colour reproduction and make the picture more juicy. The TV uses full-massive Direct LED backlighting, divided into 40 local dimming zones (provide maximum black depth). The degree of involvement of the viewer in what is happening on the screen increases the support for the "running" specifications of the technology of the extended dynamic range of the image: HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. The fact that the LG 65SM9010 belongs to the group of top TP panels is confirmed by the increased frame rate on the display (120 Hz).
