Traditional solid fuel boiler of the lower part of the middle price range. This model is the youngest in the line of KO devices, which makes the device extremely economical. The brazier is adapted for manual loading of fuel. The combustion chamber holds 24 liters. With a fully loaded firebox, the brazier generates heat for 4-6 hours. To improve heat transfer and increase the rate of heating of the coolant, instead of the traditional grate, an analogue with a water jacket is used.

Such a model can be heated not only with wood and coal, but also with pellets. Solid fuel boiler Kotlant KO-12.5 is equipped with a single-circuit heat exchanger. The duct can be either natural or forced circulation. This modification is non-volatile. But the device is already adapted from the factory for the installation of an automatic control system, with a constant power supply. Heat-resistant steel 09G2S was used in the design of the boiler, the wall thickness reaches 4 mm. A damper is installed at the outlet of the chimney channel. The model has two doors. The lower door leaf provides access to both the firebox and the ash compartment. The draft regulator is mechanical, which implies manual adjustment of the air duct operation.
