Functional smartwatch in a classic form factor with a round dial, the role of which is assigned to a 1.3-inch TFT-matrix with a resolution of 240x240 pixels and support for touch input. The screen of the model is sharpened into a frame of metal frames, while the materials of the back side of the wearable gadget are completely dominated by plastic. You can also find a heart rate sensor on the back.
A notable feature of the KingWear KW18 is the support of a SIM card (nano format), which opens up the possibility of making and receiving voice calls. The same tray on the left side of the wearable device is able to take on board a microSD drive (up to 16 GB inclusive). With a smartphone, the watch keeps in touch via Bluetooth. As usual, the watch measures the basic parameters of the user's physical activity, records the time of sleep (purely under duress) and offers to warm up during prolonged inactivity. For the battery life of the gadget, the answer is a 340 mAh battery, which will have to be charged every 2-3 days.

Lost my electromechanical quartz watch and decided it was time to switch to smart technology. Moreover, the price of this model is quite democratic. I liked the look, they look stylish and modern, it is clear that the Chinese borrowed a lot from Samsung, but I, as a consumer, only welcome this)) There is a slot for a SIM card and a memory card, so the device can work as a separate independent phone. The screen is round, touch and quite decent quality. The size is small at only 1.3 inches and the resolution is decent at 240 by 240 pixels, which results in an impressive 10 dots per millimeter. The built-in accelerometer counts steps, distances and calories, and can remind you of long periods of inactivity. I did not measure with a tape measure, but it looks like the truth. One of the most useful features is pairing with a smartphone and displaying notifications on the clock screen (but there are some problems in Cyrillic). You can talk using the telephone module, but even a headset will not help in a noisy place. In the photographs, the watch looked quite thin, but in reality they are almost one and a half centimeters thick, which is a bit much. Well, my hand is quite large and they look normal, but on a more modest wrist, the look will be so-so. Another snag in the photos concerns the screen frames. On images in online stores, they are small and almost invisible, but in reality it is a thick black frame. The heart rate sensor works, to put it mildly, inaccurately. I measure three times in a row, completely at rest on the couch, and three times in a row I get noticeably different results. Non-standard charging with a magnetic connector seems to be convenient, but if it is lost or damaged, it will be impossible to find a replacement. The battery is also not the most capacious. If you turn on synchronization in the morning, then until 19-20 pm the battery will go to zero. The smartphone application called Fundo Wear is translated crookedly and clumsily. |
