my previous comment, I liked the watch very much - but it died, at one moment they began to keep the battery for 2 days maximum, instead of two weeks, I gave it to the service - there is water inside, almost everything is spoiled, it’s worth saying that the watch was not removed from the hand at all, swimming pool, sauna , repairing the car, I don’t care - and they didn’t suffer much, due to the design - replacing the battery is very expensive, well, repairs, including, it’s difficult to disassemble, I advise everyone to watch the Phoenix series models, where you can open the case yourself at home (bolts and not a glued case ) functionality, it is almost in no way inferior to top solutions at a price almost 2 times less than them, there is a full-fledged coloring for women + dimensions will just be good for a woman’s hand, of course there are few geek girls, but those who have will really appreciate the device, garmin drink, an excellent application , I will not repeat they died after a year of wild exploitation, according to the assurances of the service - it’s just a lot of water inside, everything rotted to hell, as they said in the service - the buttons are not designed to be pressed under water, while swimming I measured time, probably there they ended, they work, but they began to keep it for 2 days, since the watch is disposable (there are no bolts on top, non-separable, glued), then the local service undertakes to repair it at a high price, it is easier to switch to another model  Вадим: use Garmin Vivoactive 3 more than year |
after literally 2-3 days of use, you can add up the first review of the device, the transition to which was with Xiaomi Miband2, there is something to compare with! If very briefly - a device for geeks, and you need to dig a little to set it up for yourself, although a fairly competent set of functions and convenient settings were initially laid down, almost everything is configured very finely and in detail. They chose in appearance between Phoenix 3 sapphire and these, they were taken for subtlety - albeit to the detriment of battery capacity. If your hand is not very big, then it seems like the best option, but if you like bigger boilers, you definitely need to take phoenixes, and I was sure that the touch screen would be better, but I suspect that the menu that was made for buttons (and it’s the same here as in phoenixes) is better controlled by buttons, again settings. In general, Garmin took a steam bath and made really excellent devices, for which there is almost no alternative, but not for everyone - far from everyone, as an expensive watch, I may not have considered it, although there are not very many replacement options! Functionality for active people, mostly for athletes, but with a focus on just gadget users, there are a lot of settings, they are very different and for almost anyone. What is the type of activity "yard work!", well, the legendary transflective screen which lasts for a very long time relative to devices that need to be charged every day (complete insanity, but almost everyone has this), well, and a huge internal application store, dials (more than 100 views with settings), there is an application for Uber which is very cool (shows when a car arrives) price, even if it was bought at the lowest price in Ukraine, then this is an expensive device, but everything is relative, for example, with respect to Garmin Phoenix 3 / 5, this is a cheap device with essentially the same functions, but with respect to Xiaomi band 2 it is very expensive, and yes - xiaomi knows less and considers it crooked, but damn it - 10 times! Next - the application on the mobile - it was made by a crooked hand, it is very difficult to use it normally, the synchronization is very long and complicated (we are talking about the initial setup and updating the software), although the software on the PC and synchronization via cable is a pleasure, it was made by a really normal adequate person , also Garmin Pay does not work for us, and there is no NFC chip in the device, which would help a lot and add a lot of convenience in calculations, the watch is always on you and you don’t need to think where the wallet or card is, there is still a moment that some settings are available only from a watch, something only from a PC (the dial setting is thin), not a valuable GPS that catches for a very long time, well, against this background, it is very inconvenient to use it, until you find it already and you can run ))) Вадим: use Garmin Vivoactive 3 less than month |

Transflective display
The Vivoactive 3 watch model has got a round dial with a screen size of 1.2" (if such a measure is applicable to the round shape of the display). It is made using transflective technology, thanks to which the data is perfectly readable in the sun, and energy consumption is minimized. The picture is displayed on the screen in a resolution of 240x240 pixels, and each type of training in the settings can be marked with its own colour.
Activity types
Determination of the type of activity and recording of training parameters are assigned both to the shoulders of various external sensors connected to Garmin Vivoactive 3 via wireless interfaces, and by reading data from sensors on board the watch, including an accelerometer, heart rate monitor, altimeter and a GPS module for tracking the current location and drawing track jogging or cycling. The electronic "brains" of the model collect data on the usual and atypical training modes (workout, martial arts, gymnastics), and also know how to track the number of sets in strength exercises.
Extended functionality
Based on the readings of the heart rate monitor, the watch determines the level of stress and, in case of excessive excitement, offers to perform breathing exercises. A separate sensor measures the body's oxygen uptake. In everyday tasks, the wearable gadget performs the functions of showing the time and duplicating on-screen notifications of calls and notifications from applications from a connected smartphone. Unfortunately, there is no flexible settings for notifications in the options menu.
All "salt"
The model has nothing of its own memory, so it is not suitable for storing musical compositions that could be listened to during training using wireless headphones. But it doesn’t matter, because the whole “salt” of the watch lies in measuring numerous parameters of physical activity, water resistance of the case and long battery life(13 hours in continuous GPS monitoring mode and up to 7 days in standard use mode). The icing on the cake is the quick-release straps, which allows you to customize the appearance of the model according to your mood, and the built-in NFC chip for using the watch in the Garmin Pay payment system.
