The composite body weighs 65g and is protected against dust and water ingress according to the IP68 standard (long-term immersion to a depth of 100m is allowed).
To display information, a 30 mm transflective MIP screen with a resolution of 240x240 and a detail of 283 ppi is used. The screen is protected by an ultra-hard and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The Garmin Fenix 5S Plus Sapphire smartwatch is equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, thermometer, optical heart rate sensor, barometer, altimeter, high-precision GPS/GLONASS module and can interact with ANT+ sensors.
A full-fledged navigation mode is supported using colour maps, steps are counted, speed and distance traveled are determined, various types of sports activity (running, swimming, cycling, etc.) are correctly evaluated, and calories burned are calculated. Sleep monitoring mode is provided. When using the bluetooth 4.0 LE wireless protocol, it is easy to synchronize with smartphones. Notifications for incoming calls, messages, calendar events and alarms are supported. The built-in battery is enough for a week of battery life in standby mode or for 25 hours of active work with a GPS module.

What kind of slag should be sold to people so that for such grandmas a year later the paint begins to peel off the watch (as they write here in the comments) ... horror ... shows the time the quality of the case is some kind of misunderstanding for your money |
The watch is certainly expensive, but the appearance, whatever you say, is simply gorgeous. Build quality / materials at a high level. In the year that I have them, the paint on the edges has peeled off a little, and the glass is in perfect condition. The battery charge lasts a very long time. With 3-4 workouts a week, I can charge them once every week and a half. I'm not a big swimmer and haven't tested them in a pool, but I can shower with them without any problems. The only caveat is that I try not to get soap on them, otherwise the paint may peel off. Very accurate heart rate measurement. The functionality is usual for such watches, all kinds of sports. I like that there is NFC and I don’t have to take my wallet or smartphone with me to workouts. Satisfied for hours. Build quality / materials at a high level. The battery charge lasts a very long time. You can take a shower with them. Very accurate heart rate measurement. There is NFC. Very expensive. The paint can peel off from getting soap on them.
