Inexpensive drip coffee maker of medium power for brewing coffee with a filtration method. Unlike automatic coffee machines, it only works with ground coffee, which must be manually loaded into a reusable plastic washable filter. The capacity of the water tank is 1.8 liters, which at maximum load allows you to get up to 15 cups of coffee in one preparation. The extraction process in the First FA-5459-5 coffee maker takes place at normal atmospheric pressure and does not require special conditions.

Hot water at around 90°C is filtered in drops through a layer of ground coffee, completely wetting it. The degree of saturation of taste and strength of the finished drink depends on the variety of grains, the degree of their roasting and the dispersion of grinding. To obtain a more tonic and strong coffee, you can increase the load of ground grains and reduce the amount of water passed through it. This coffee maker does an excellent job of brewing authentic Americano coffee (this drip brewing method is most common in North and South America). Fast water heating is provided by a 900 W boiler. To maintain the temperature of the finished coffee at 70 °C, an additional heater is built into the coffee pot stand, which automatically turns off after 40 minutes.
