There are a lot of electric boilers for heating systems on the market now. Therefore, when the need arose to choose a sensible modern model, the eyes simply ran in different directions. Hot water was not required, the boiler chose a single-circuit. At first I looked in the direction of domestic models, but everything is bad with flexible software control, which I wanted to have. Of the imported manufacturers, I settled on Ferroli, as I am already familiar with this brand (their heating equipment is installed at work). High efficiency, there are three stages of electric power. Step switching is solid-state and noiseless. The quiet circulation pump is also inaudible.
Cool modern digital control system. A day, that is, 24 hours, can be divided as much as 48 (!!!) independent intervals and set your own parameters for each. Very convenient and allows you to save a lot of very expensive electricity. There is an official branded service and a three-year warranty. I hope you don't need it, but it's easier that way. A well-known international brand, the boiler itself is assembled in Europe. It's not that I don't trust our firms, but I work in a manufacturing plant myself and I'm aware of our manufacturing culture. The price of the boiler, in my opinion, is a bit overpriced. But there are simply no other, cheaper options with such advanced software control on the market.

The Italian company Ferroli is a recognized manufacturer in the world market, because its thermal equipment meets both user requirements and international quality standards. An electric boiler LEB 12 costing about $600 is able to create comfortable living conditions in the room and maintain them for many years.
Ergonomic design
The boiler with a size of 740x440x340 mm weighs quite a lot — almost 40 kg, as it contains a circulation pump and a metal expansion tank with a volume of 10 liters. This somewhat limits and complicates the possibilities of wall mounting.
The front panel of the casing is decorated with a large informative display. The control panel is hidden under a plastic hinged cover so as not to disturb the laconic appearance of the device. Each function has its own button or adjustment wheel, it also provides a self-diagnosis mode and display of error codes, so setting the desired parameters and monitoring the operation of the unit is easy and simple.
Optimal heating
3 heating elements with a total power of 12 kW heat the coolant from 30 to 80 °C, allowing you to create a comfortable air temperature. 3-stage power adjustment makes it possible to use the device in underfloor heating mode.
The summer mode function is also convenient, thanks to which you can turn off the heating and use the boiler only to provide hot water. The unit provides the connection of an indirect heating storage tank.
The power failure protection function will automatically turn on the device when the mains power is restored. And if the water begins to boil, the overheating protection function will turn off the unit from the network.
Ferroli LEB 12 is good enough for its tasks, and perhaps the best in the niche of 12-kilowatt single-circuit boilers. The only drawback is the weight, which complicates installation. But then, as they say, set it and forget it.
