The Italian coffee machine De'Longhi Maestosa EPAM 960.75.GLM at first glance makes it clear that this is an expensive model of the premium segment. The device stands out for its exquisite design of a metal case with a vertical relief and a front panel made of black glass. The model received an increased layer of thermal insulation, which partially performs the function of noise absorption: this is immediately felt by the quiet operation of the device. The assembly of the device, as well as the kinematics of the movable and removable elements, are beyond praise: they easily slide out on rails, providing full access to maintenance. This primarily concerns the water tank with a capacity of 2.1 L, which can be topped up without removing it through the intake opening, which opens by simply pressing a special plate on the side of the case. Just as easy to access is the removable brewing unit, which holds up to 14 g of freshly ground coffee.

Powerful pump and 2 separate grinder hoppers

The machine uses 2 thermoblocks with a total power of 1550 W and a powerful pump with a pressure of 19 bar. The built-in coffee grinder has 2 independent blocks with metal burrs that provide adaptive grinding of grains (7 degrees). For this, 2 separate loading hoppers with a volume of 290 g each are provided, into which you can fill different types of coffee. This design allows the use of blends (mixtures) in recipes that best reveal the richness of flavors and aromas. The machine can automatically prepare americano, cream coffee and all possible varieties of espresso - regular, double, macchiato and lungo. In addition, you can get cappuccino, latte, latte macchiato, as well as such a rare drink in household coffee machines as Flat White. The temperature setting function (4 degrees) will be useful not only for making coffee, but also for brewing tea (separate programme). For green tea, hot water is supplied at a temperature of 80 °C, and for black tea - 90-100 °C.

Six user profiles for your recipes

The appliance comes with a 0.5 L insulated milk container, a separate carafe for preparing hot chocolate and two ice molds, with which you can prepare cold coffee and cold milk foam. By the way, the foam can be prepared in any desired density: the appropriate settings are provided for this. All the richness of the programs, numbering 21 automatic drink recipes, is controlled by a 5-inch colour touch display, which can be rotated at an angle for convenience. In addition to pre-installed programs, the user can additionally create 6 individual profiles with their own settings for each recipe. And the “icing on the cake” was the ability to control all processes from a smartphone via the built-in Bluetooth module.
