I was very pleased with the backlight (LED-lamps) - smooth on and off. The backlight brightness is adjustable. In a kitchen with such light, it is unusually cozy. The noise level, as stated in the instructions, is no more than 44 dB. An excellent purchase, with which not only I am satisfied, but also my wife, who really liked the hood.
