A grateful patient donated this water heater to our rural outpatient clinic. Our village is large, almost 5 thousand inhabitants, there is almost always a queue for reception, and the gift came in handy. He says that at first he was going to take a larger volume, but he thought about it and he decided in favor of a smaller volume, but a higher heating speed. And he did the right thing. We spend warm water mainly only for washing our hands, and large volumes are not needed for this business. A volume of 15 liters is enough for these purposes.

The main plus and advantage of this water heater compared to large (50+ liters) boilers is the time it takes to heat up the water. Large accumulative models do not warm up their volume in less than one and a half to two hours. And here in just thirty minutes the temperature is around 60 degrees. It's great that in the morning you do not need to turn it on long before the start of the reception. Very simple control and regulation of water heating temperature. Moreover, the temperature can be adjusted quite accurately. Good thermal insulation. Even at the maximum temperature in the tank, the body of the water heater is barely warm. And the maximum water can be heated up to 75 degrees. Not afraid of overheating. There is also protection against overpressure and freezing. Small and does not require much space for installation. This model was originally designed to work with one consumer of hot water, but we can easily cope with the maintenance of two points.

The plastic of the water heater itself and the control knobs is white and very easily soiled. This does not affect his work in any way, but in a medical institution, cleanliness is very important.

Outer shell

The boiler has a flat form factor with dimensions of 40.8x31.2x36.8 cm, attractive in appearance, so it will look organically on the wall of a bathroom or office. The inner tank has a glass-ceramic coating to protect against corrosion and is covered with a 20 mm layer of polyurethane foam insulation. The casing of the boiler is made of plastic. The mechanical control system is implemented using a thermostat operating in 4 modes: frost protection, summer, winter and maximum.

Technical advantages

The power consumption of the heater is 1500 W, which allows heating 15 liters of water from 15 to 70º C in 35 minutes. The manufacturer gives a guarantee for the magnesium anode for 2 years, then recommends its replacement, and for the tank itself — 5 years.

The boiler is provided with overheating protection, also in the package there is a check valve that protects against overpressure.

The Tronic 2000 ES 15 water heater is a beautiful, functional and reliable unit, but like everything from Bosch, it is expensive. Perfect for high traffic public areas.
