A simple and reliable storage electric water heater with a capacity of 80 liters for vertical wall mounting with a supply of communications from below. It is intended for installation in domestic or household premises, including in conditions of high humidity. It has standard overall dimensions of a cylindrical body with a diameter of 45 cm and trouble-free electromechanical control.
It is positioned as an affordable product of the middle price category, capable of fully satisfying the hot water needs of a family of 2-3 people. Can supply up to two parsing points at the same time. The storage water heater Bosch Tronic 1000 ES 080-5 N0 WIV-B has a classic, time-tested design with a traditional 2000 W electric tubular immersion heater. Its heating capacity is sufficient to heat up an 80-liter volume of the apparatus from 15 to 65 °C in just 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The outer cylindrical body of the device has increased resistance to humid air and water spray (IPX4 protection). The robust inner tank is made of 2 mm cold-rolled sheet steel and is designed for pressures up to 8 bar. The steel surface is protected from contact with water by a special glass-ceramic enamel, which demonstrates high resistance to temperature extremes. 32 mm thick polyurethane foam insulation ensures minimal losses.

I have all Bosch appliances in my house. So far, there have been no problems or complaints. And then we ran into a problem: after 3.5 years of operation, my Tronic ES 075 water heater leaked. When it was sold to us, it was written in large letters on it: 5-year warranty on the tank! But, when they filed a complaint, in fact it turned out that the guarantee works only in the case of regular service, which, of course, is written not in capital letters, but in a small line in the guarantee. As a company representative told us, we need to read more carefully. Well, how many of you read carefully everything that is written in such documents? I think this is outright cheating. Legally, there is nothing to complain about - it is written after all! - but in fact I was deceived. Invented a beautiful way to avoid responsibility for a low-quality product. For, you see, the boiler life of 3.5 years from a manufacturer such as Bosch is at least ridiculous. The season of preventive shutdowns of hot water supply has already started and thanks to this water heater I meet it fully armed. At first I wanted to buy a model with a capacity of 100 liters, but then I thought that for two it would be too fat. In practice, it turned out that 80 liters is just a sufficient volume. Hot water preparation time was a pleasant surprise. Few boilers can heat eighty liters of water to 70 degrees in less than two hours. If you just need warm water, then it will be ready in 35-40 minutes. Another definite plus is the European assembly. This particular model was assembled at the Bulgarian Bosch factory. The storage tank is made of thick and durable 2 mm sheet of high quality cold rolled steel. It is protected by a conventional glass-ceramic coating and a magnesium anode. Both the control and temperature control in it are implemented using simple thermomechanical devices. It would seem like yesterday, but in practice, thermomechanics is an order of magnitude more reliable than electronics, and in conditions of unstable voltage in electrical networks, such simple and reliable solutions are much more preferable. To some, buying a Bosch water heater in the summer kitchen may seem like a stupid waste of money, but I'm used to counting my money. The power of the electric heater in this boiler is only 1200 W and it heats the water slowly. It seems to be a drawback, but on the other hand, the low power of the heating element reduces the formation of scale and prolongs its service life. Ten, by the way, is used high-quality, copper. It retains the temperature of hot water very well, which indicates its good thermal insulation. During the summer night, the water temperature drops by only 3-4 degrees and it can be used without additional heating. Equipped with a simple, foolproof and reliable mechanical thermostat. With overhead power lines and constant voltage drops, I consider this an important advantage. Comes with a two-year warranty on the electrical part and a five-year warranty on the integrity of the tank. Made in Bulgaria. A thermometer that measures the temperature of the water in the tank reacts to temperature changes with a noticeable delay of 3-5 minutes. There is no button to turn off the water heater.
