Compact micro-ATX motherboard released in 2021, designed for use in compact gaming builds based on AMD processors. Equipped with an AMD AM4 processor socket and a mid-level AMD B550 chipset, which is designed to install 4/6/8/12/16-core Ryzen CPUs of the 3000, 4000 and 5000 series with Matisse, Vermeer and Renoir cores. The board belongs to the middle class and is part of the Asus The Ultimate Force product family, all members of which undergo rigorous factory testing and are designed for long-term use.
The circuit design, the quality of cooling of the power circuits and the general equipment of the Asus TUF GAMING B550M-E allow you to build on its basis a fairly serious gaming PC or workstation with a GeForce RTX 3080-level video card, 128 GB of DDR4 4800 MHz class RAM, a pair of M.2 SSDs and four SATA3 drives. Unlike previous generations of TUF motherboards, this model supports the high-speed PCI-E interface of the fourth generation, allowing the use of reactive SSDs with data transfer speeds from 5000 to 7500 MB/s. A gigabit LAN adapter from Realtek is responsible for high data exchange speeds and low latency in network battles. Additionally, the motherboard is equipped with a TPM connector for connecting encryption keys, a COM port and four connectors for installing RGB and ARGB strips.

I'm glad I bought it, but what's even more disappointing is the fact that today's motherboards are bundled like the processors that are installed on these boards. I love the tuf line due to its modern look and poor characteristics for its price. It was also easy to find an antediluvian VGA output for my other display and I didn’t have a chance to buy an adapter. For those who may find it useful: the motherboard does not have backlighting, only 2 RGB and ARGB slots. USB Type C on the front panel, heatsink on the M2 slot, WIFI6, side USB 3.2 connection port (easy to assemble and looks more aesthetic), B550 chipset, PCIe boost slot, plenty of USB outputs. Professional grade protection
Asus TUF GAMING B550M-E is equipped with a Digi+ VRM stabilizer, which protects the processor from voltage surges. The manufacturer has used additional protection mechanisms against airborne and contact electrostatic discharge, and the LAN network port is able to withstand lightning strikes. The main PCIe expansion slot is reinforced with a metal plate to securely hold heavy graphics cards. The M.2 heatsink cools high-speed SSDs, ensuring stable performance even under intense workloads.
