Affordable and powerful power supply standard ATX 2.3 traditional design. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the lower part of the middle price category, which is focused on use in high-performance gaming systems with video cards that consume up to 250 watts of power. It will become a reliable source of energy for the operation of performant workstations (including those equipped with professional graphics accelerators). An improved platform with traditional circuitry based on the principle of group voltage stabilization is used as the hardware basis of the device. Thanks to proprietary engineering solutions and high-quality element base, the Cougar STX 650 power supply shows a decent level of energy efficiency, corresponding to the 80 Plus certification level (at 50% load, the...efficiency is 88%). It is capable of delivering current up to 52 A along the + 12V line (which is 96% of the nameplate power). To smooth out the ripples of the output lines, high-quality Teapo electrolytic capacitors of high-temperature series (up to 105 °C) are used. They do an excellent job of smoothing/suppressing ripples and guarantee a long service life. To cool the PSU itself, a controlled 120 mm fan with a plain bearing is used.
